| 12:00 AM | 11:59 PM | Tripped to change hammer bit at 378'. Rig was 434' and soaping at 8:30 AM. Rig was 434' at 1:15 PM. Rig shut down for several hours to make repairs and adjustments (mostly welding on handrails, etc.), as rig has just come from yard and major repairs. Rig is headed for upstate NY, and using this hole for "shakedown" before moving. Plan was to finish this work during top hole. Continued drilling and soaping hole. Plan to run surface casing Saturday morning during daylight hours. |
